My music journey started when I was just 2 years old after my grandad bought me a piano. Growing up in Hong Kong, I loved listening to Cantopop and Mandarin classics.  Then during my high school years in the UK, I was exposured to western style music including operas and musicals.

After moving to Sydney, I studied Musical Theatre at Western Sydney Institute of TAFE Nirimba under Broadway Director Stephen Helper and Sarah Matthews. I received the Performing Arts Outstanding Achievement Award at graduation.

Since then, I have been gigging either as a solo artist or with my band Scarlet Fusion.

As a songwriter, I collaborated with Australian Idol / XFactor coach Erana Clark on some original music. Samples are available on the Music page.

Apart from singing, I also work as a voice over artist and MC presenter. I have worked on TV advertisements and CD recordings both in Australia and overseas. My clients include Qantas, Groupon Australia & NZ and the NSW Government.

For many years, I was the judge/host of The Star Karaoke, one of Sydney's most lucrative karaoke singing competitions held at the Rock Lily lounge - The Star Pyrmont. I also performed as one of the lead singers of Scarlet Fusion, a contemporary Jazz duo band with Samuel Hanson.  We would often perform at the Star Sovereign Room.

Over the years, I directed numerous musicals for the community and Western Sydney Institute of TAFE. I also wrote and performed my own musical cabaret at The Sydney Fringe Festival in 2011.

I was the Creative Director at a Sydney church, I then taught at the Music and Dance Centre Chatswood. Finally, I went full circle and taught the Cert III, IV and Diploma courses in Theatre & Screen and Musical Theatre at Western Sydney Institute of TAFE Nirimba where I was first trained.

In 2021, I started Aaralyn Productions and co-produced a new live production - Bond In Concert, featuring 25 orchestral members and 3 singers of which I was one of them. The debute show attracted more than 500 patrons at the Cremorne Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace.
